I'm not sure this is even possible, but go with me for a minute. Let's say you're connected to a remote computer via one of those MyRemoteDesktop.com-type services & you're looking to print something out of your company's software (restaurant management software, not something you can easily copy & paste into word/excel/etc.).

Every time you attempt to print, it tries to print at the remote location (the restaurant), not at your home computer. Even "Print Screen" tries to print to the restaurant printer. Without being properly networked, is there a way to successfully print at home? :wallbash:

Anyone familiar with this type of problem? Am I even explaining it clearly enough?

there should be a choice on the remote software to include local printers. once you select this, you should be able to print it at home

Yeah, that's the ticket. I know for 'Log Me In' you can find it in the "Preferences" section, but I am not sure about GTMPC (it has been a couple of years since I used it - and it was before remote printing was available). I would assume it is somewhere similar.
