In Theaters October 3rd

It's been three weeks, 2 days, and 23 hours since Tris broke up with Nick. And now here she is at his gig, with a new guy. How could she have moved on so fast??? Nick, in a desperate attempt to show her he's moved on too, turns to the girl next to him and asks her to be his 5 minute girlfriend. This begins the night of Nick, Norah and manhattan. The night of stripping nuns, hotel ice rooms, russian food, psychotically jewish ex boyfriends and lovingly trashy ex girlfriends. It's the night of Julio and Salvatore. The night of holding hands and writing songs and singing in the rain. It's a night they'll never forget.

It may look stupid to some but I am actually looking forward to this movie. It looks like something I could get into. This is the first day I have seen anything for it so I don't know if anyone else has seen the trailer. I am a sucker for these kinds of movies.

My two very strong reactions to this movie:

1. 90 minute Ipod commercial

2. There is absolutely nothing interesting about 99% of young people, both real and imagined. One of the worst things about contemporary life, and I will go as far to say what is flushing our society completely down the toilet, is that we started acting like the young are significantly more relevant than they really are. Youth is being sold to us because it is as unattainable as it is appealing, resulting in a perpetual marketing machine that will tax us until we die. Please America, stop demanding that I pay attention to the young and the rich, they have nothing to teach me about my own fairly typical experience which, in comparison, seems completely alien. I refuse to believe that if I am vapid long enough, and just wander through this great big confusing world, by gosh it will all make sense while I'm still young, fresh and vital enough to enjoy feeling right about everything.

So I'm gonna skip it.

I saw the preview the other night before Pineapple Express and was highly annoyed that I thought it looked good. I don't remember being a 15 year old girl.

Looks pretty interesting. I like both Michael Cera and Kat Dennings so I'm looking forward to this. realmenhatelife I don't see why a movie such as this draws your ire so much. By that I mean there are plenty of piece of crap movies that are more far deserving of your opinion than this.

I also don't see why there can't be movies like these that are made that maybe are a little less intellectual than others, they still have their place as do mindless action movies and documentaries it's all about what draws the masses that rules the day. My point is, there has been and always will be movies that are pure fluff, comedies, etc..and then there are serious more intelligent movies. It's just the way it is.

If you hate these types of flicks, don't see them.

Saw this yesterday....

Thought overall it was very formulaic, but I did think there were at least a few funny scenes in it

Eh....good date movie...don't think I would ever own it or want to see it again. I do like that Michael Cera fellow

I finally saw this over the weekend (and I've seen quite a few are watching it lately too from Twitter). Cute little teen movie, but I expected the movie to be a little more music-centric and focus more on the search for Where's Fluffy (hell, if they love the band so much, why not put a song in the movie for this fictional band).

Yeah it wasn't bad. Cera and Dennings made a good combination, but the movie itself lacked energy. It's one of those where if it's on HBO or something I'll watch it.

I never felt a stronger desire to hope that a whacky clerk worked at the movie theatre and slipped me some arsenic so that I would die.

I saw the movie months ago with a friend and her friend. I have never been so bored and wanted death to strike me in a theatre. I slipped out of it about 40 mins in and went to watch "Burn After Reading" again. This piece of shit movie made fucking "Satisfaction" starring Justine Bateman look like Citizen Kane.

My movie snyopsis . Fuck this contrived and forced script. And fuck all the straight edged faggots in this movie. And fuck those homos as well. I hoped this movie ended in all of the cast finding an IED, it blows them all up and their corpses get raped by grizzly bears.
