Peter Cullen. He did it before LaFontaine was "The Man", and he can do it after.
Besides, LaFontaine's act was pretty much cliche at this point. He did a lot of great work, but movie trailers are starting to get away from the overdramatic voiceovers.

he may have been a total cliche pimp but he was the master.

bollocks.
lafontaine scripted and voiced some of the most important trailers in cinema history since the 60s.
id never heard of peter cullen but if you mean the dude off 'transformers' and 'the 13th ghosts of scooby doo' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Cullen) your full of shite (again)

I was gonna say John Facenda would be a fine replacement but I googled him and now he's dead. Maybe Kasey Kasem?
Ehh the Movie Trailer guy is dead? Well go to any ProAm and you'll find 7 people to doing it and no one would even notice. Do you think anyone would notice in a Legally Blonde 3 trailer?

I hate that Pablo Francisco impression.
I don't think he sounds anything like the real dude. I give him a 3. Maybe.
Most impressions suck.

This legitimately saddens me because as an aspiring voice over artist one of my goals was to always meet some of the greatest. I've had the pleasure of meeting and eating lunch at Universal Studios by accident with Billy West and John DiMaggio (Futurama voices) and seeing Maurice LaMarche in Los Angeles and asking him how to do the Orson Wells voice. One person who was always brought up was LaFontaine. His memory will stay alive in those amazing trailers he's voiced over the years. A great voice has unfortunately been lost in the community of voice actors.

Fuck this guy for dying and giving Pablo Francisco an excuse to be brought up by anyone, anywhere, for anything at all.
