The wife and I just finished watchng Matt Berrry's (Mighty Boosh/Garth Merenghi's Dark Place/Snuff Box) revisionist version of Jesus Christ Superstar: AD/BC. Subtle and hilarious rock opera, brilliantly faithful to the 70's-rific ass-thetic of the JCS film. Not as surreal as Snuff Box, but once again showcasing the weird musical genius of Matt Berry. Also stars Julian Barrett, Noel Fielding, Richard Aoade and Rich Fulcher.
