I want to try these. They look like fun and my kids will love them. They also have a template (http://www.cubeecraft.com/template.html), so if anyone wants to take a shot at trying to make cubes for Ron, Fez, Dave, Earl, Opie, Anthony, Norton, etc., that might be pretty cool.

I bought pack of cardstock for $12 (250 sheet) at staples. Real good deal.

If you want real good folds (using cardstock), I find it useful to make a really light cut using a hobby knife, behind the fold.

Do you have any craft stores near you like Michaels or AC Moore? Also, a model/hobby shop should have something in stock. For that matter, check the model section of Wal Mart or K-Mart; I know I have seen them there before.

In addition, you might check the tool/home section of Wal Mart, K-mart, etc. or a Paint Store. They usually have the small/mini utility knives that you can use like an Exacto in a pinch. Something like this, although you can often get a cheap version with a blade that will snap off every centimeter or so in order to get a fresh point:
