strange message on my xm unit

today when i left for work i turned on my xm unit and it said something about something expiring in 90 days. i thought it said recorded programs expire in 90 days or something. the message went so fast and i was not entirely awake yet so i missed the first half. did this happen to anyone else? does anyone know what it means? :unsure:

It has happened to me before. It seems to be a system to confirm that subscriptions are current . It is probably how they block the units whose accounts have expired.

yep.

If you don't pay, your recorded content will be erased.

If you are paying, I don't know why it is doing that unless you are late on a bill.

They get really antsy when you are a couple days late.

im already doing that. im trying to get out of buying something on ebay i bid on and i closed my account, but theres a waiting period.
