Need Cpu Help

My mom reinstalled windows on her CPU and now She is missing all her Pics. Is there anyway to find them? Please help if you can.

no what happened was she probably reformatted and everything is lost. if it is that important, you can do a data recovery on the drive and try to find them. PM me for more info on that.

Look on the Hard Drive In C:/Documents and Settings folder for her old User settings.

If she just refreshed Windows it might have left the old docs behind, and made a new User Account for her.

I can not find anything. Now I am not sure if she even Downloaded the correct Windows
Forget finding stuff I just need to fix this cpu./

i assume you did a search for "Pictures, Music, or Video" and didn't find anything?

aside from the missing pics, what is wrong with the pc?

Ok. Thanks to the guys who I Pmed and that helped here. I did get the CPU running and it is going good but the pics are still missing. If you know of any other ways to find them it would be great.
