It was casually mentioned in an AICN article about Judges new comedy movie (that stars Ben Affleck)

Anyway, as far as Judge goes, I liked all of his movies, Beavis & Butthead is classic and "King of the Hill" is good, with some great episodes...some unwatchable episodes..but most of the time an "ok show"

so I researched his new show on IMDb..here is the link

http://us.imdb.com/title/tt1183569/

It seems to be the exact polar opposite of "King of the Hill", about a family of goody-two shoes Liberals (instead of the Hills..a family of traditional values conservatives). I wonder how successful this premise will be in his hands? Either way, I'll def be giving this one a fair shot

I don't know, I think he needed to use that electrolytes joke another 15,000 times before I could say I liked it.

yeah hes in the new mike judge FILM project

[Ben Affleck will play an opportunistic lawyer in Mike Judge’s latest big-screen comedy, “Extract.”

The Miramax feature, which starts shooting Monday, is about a flower-extract factory worker who loses a body part in a freak accident and finds himself pursuing a substantial settlement from his employer. Others in the cast include Kristen Wiig, Mila Kunis, Clifton Collins Jr. (Perry Smith in "Capote"), and Jason Bateman.

Writer-director Judge is the man behind "Beavis & Butt-head," "King of the Hill," "Office Space," "Idiocracy" and the upcoming animated ABC sitcom "The Goode Family."

ben affleck isnt funny or particularly talented..but jason bateman can be hilarious. I also love Mila Kunis (kristen wiig is cool too i think)

I would say the last five or six years of King of the Hill have been pretty damn bad.

Ben Affleck can be and has been very funny.

Unfortunately, it's alwas been in interviews and DVD commentaries and never actually in a film.

id say once dale's wife stopped sleeping with john redcorn is when it stopped being anything special. it was still a decent show when you compare it to all the shitty shows that are on tv, butit wasn't anything i'd go out of my way to watch. I think its by episode though, ive seen some episodes that were all laughs and some that were so bland that if you asked me what the episode was about afterwards i couldnt tell you

I've actually found the last few years of King of the Hill fantastic. The first few years were much rougher.

Agreed. I can barely watch the first couple of seasons. The voice acting is alll stiff and basically just a bunch of caricatures.

I kinda liked Idiocracy. I think it's a movie you only need to see one time, but it had some good moments.

For some reason, I love Hank Hill. He's absolutely hysterical. Just all the nonsense that pisses him off really makes me laugh. I'm not a fan to the point where I would set time aside to watch it. I watch it if it's on, and get some good laughs out of it.

If Mike Judge is doing it, it's got potential.

A great piece of work. Very smart and ahead of its time. A brilliant work of satire.

with almost all long running animated series, the first seasons are usually brutal to watch. I guess in most first seasons of tv shows they try to figure out the characters and they naturally change through the show. So cartoons must be made with such broad strokes that the changes are significant. The first seasons usually have different sounding voices, different animation and characters that don't seem like themselves. Def the first seasons of "the simpsons", "south park", and "family guy" are unwatchable.

Yeah, if you go back and look at the first couple of seasons, there's almost a Beavis and Butthead quality to the animation and voices. Still, there was some great stuff there.

Miss Cotton Hill. He was my favorite.
