I can't stop watching shows like gangland on the discovery channel. Are there any must see documentaries on the subject out there?

Cocaine Cowboys was terrific.
All of the Richard Kuklinski docs are really interesting.
I forget the exact name, but it's like IceMan: Confessions of a Mafia Hitman. Google his name and I'm sure it would come up.
I also so one about this kid that dealt coke in D.C. in the eighties. I completely forget his name, but it was a great doc.

I hate to quote myself, but I remembered. It wasn't about coke, it's about the dude that basically intrduced crack to D.C., Rayful Edmonds.
The movie is called Rayful Edmonds: The Rise and Fall Vol 1. Great story. The dude would have like $10,000 in his pocket at the end of any given day, and just give it to people on the street. On New Years Eve, he had a few 100 thousand dollars in a club, and was just throwing it in the crowd.

And while he was doing this, his people were murdering people and shooting a Reverend 12 times. I'd like to see it, but I hope it doesn't make him look like some sort of urban hero. DC was a very scary place in the 80's.

I just want to make it clear I wasn't trying to act like he was doing good things. The stuff about the money was basically to say how much cash he had coming in through his orginization. He was a big piece of shit.
As far as the documentary P.O.V., it does the standard thing. People from the street and his family thought he was a god, and the authorities do interviews and hate him.
