Hooray for human error!

Apparently someone put in the price of gas wrong at the pump I was at yesterday evening, 12+ gallons put into my car and it only came out to be $10.

Was pretty decent. After I left they shut down the pump and closed the lane.

It was great.

I imagine you gentlemen made up the difference in the price once these errors were corrected; right?
I mean otherwise thats like stealing!

Huh? You mean in like a place where you have to pump your own gas?

We here in NJ are not savages like that but instead fancy people who have folks do it for us. Then we just pay the man what the meter says and drive away.

So you are saying you let some strange man pump you until you are full, or you run out of money...so thats how it is in that state.

I've always driven small cars. I remember when $15 would fill the tank.

I can't complain. I live about 3 miles from work. I fill up once a month, about $35.

I shop at this grocery store in town that gives you points toward gas--you just swipe your grocery card when you buy gas at their pumps and it automatically deducts your points. I wasn't even aware of this program until I glanced at my receipt last week so I tried it (thinking I'd get a few cents off) and I filled my tank for only $29 when I usually spend $80! What a cool unexpected bonus.
