that is inspirational. I hope someday mankind invents a wheeled apparatus that could be strapped to a disabled human's hindquarters for further mobility. Life and love could be so much easier for our invalids too.

The male turtle recognizes rape-bait when he sees it.
Assuming turtles do it even remotely similarly to humans, I don't understand how the male turtle doesn't just keep wheeling the female one forward. Does he have to wedge her into a corner?

It is similar to most animals... I guess you would just call it turtle-style. Hopping up on the back of the female turtle, the male needs that corner to stop any forward momentum he'll give the female. or she'll get away from him. I saw two tortoise goin' at it at the Philly zoo one time. He had her down in the mud and that kept her in place too. The males are groaners too!
