Phelps is an Olympic swimmer who has a shot at attaining a record 8 Gold Medals in one Olympiad. He already has 6 and should be swimming for #7 tonight.

He is already the Olympian with the highest medal count ever, but now he is going for most Gold (+ most for a single Olympiad).

It could be that Mikeydaken is pointing out that whenever an athlete gains success it seems that someone comes along and tries to discredit him/her. Someone will eventually come out with some kind of dirt on Phelps. Unfortunately, its a shitty fact of public life.
