I was flipping thru the channels and there is a channel called ION and they are playing Elvis: That's the Way It Is. it is a documentary I mean Rockumentary about Elvis that follows him backstage and rehersing and recording in Vegas. This guy was the coolest thing ever. Has there been a cooler rockstar than Elvis.

I visited Memphis and Graceland back in May, and while I was never a huge Elvis fan I came away with a new appreciation for him. He definitely was "cool." We often remember him now as the self-parody of the 70's/International Hotel/Vegas act, but when he was younger, he was the man. I mean, the guy literally disappeared for 7 years in the early 60's and came back bigger than ever.

Elvis trivia I learned: his only Grammy wins were for his Gospel records.
