I played DAOC. DAOC came out earlier than WoW and has arguably (in some circumstances) better PVP. Warhammer is DAOC in WoW clothing. If they impoved the fun on the DAOC engine it could be worth it.

That said, I can't see why I should get it. I guess the only reason is to join yet another MMO at the beginning before it is ruined by CGF's.

Fuck that, I've got enough wrapped up in WoW. But recently my 3 real life friends I joined with stopped playing so the game fucking blows by myself.

I'm not joining another one of these stupid MMO's if I finally decide to all it quits with WoW.

Warhammer 40,000 is UK company, Games Workshops' Sci-fi property; kind of like Starcraft to Warcraft. Warhammer, (or Warhammer Fantasy) is the original, Tolkienesque fantasy game.

Both games are originally Tabletop miniature games/hobbies with a 30 year history for the fantasy version.

Warhammer 40k seems cool, but their lead programmer and PR people seem to be a bit pissy. Dunno if that's a good thing or not.
