ipod question

I think I'm going trade in my horseshit Sansa for an ipod since the Sansa will no longer play certain mp3's. Does the ipod have a feature where you can fast forward/scroll through 3 hour mp3's like the Sansa? I can do this with the Sansa, albeit slowly, but I need to know I can do this with the ipod before I buy it. Thanks.

the classic scroll wheel ipod you can by scrolling just likeyou do through songs..

the touch has a little slide bar you can use.

your choice is if you need the storage of a classic...or the awesomeness which is the touch...(which max's at 32gb)

Honestly, if you're already on AT&T, or don't mind switching, I'd go for an iPhone over the iPod Touch. It has the full functionality of any other iPod, plus you can connect to a wireless signal for Internet access anywhere, unlike the iPod Touch which requires an existing Wi-Fi signal.
