Sringsteen will be the Superbowl halftime show, love him or hate him he seems to play to a very loyal crowd and his live show energy is largely fan participation, but the superbowl is not his crowd.
What does he play to get the stadium into the halftime show, assuming the majority of the crowd does't know the words to Rosalita, not to mention half the popular songs are not party atmosphere songs. I can see "Born to Run" and after that .....not sure what rocks the crowd...........What 4/5 song set can he do?

Born to Run, Rosalita, Glory Days, Born in the USA.

Glory Days and Born in the USA are totally party atmosphere songs.

I think Born in the USA is only slow and acoustic now.

The superbowl isn't his crowd?

Every overweight, middle aged man with no taste in music loves Springsteen. The Superbowl is totally his crowd.

Ouch! Rude and rude. Although it is ridiculously early to have this conversation...when the Redskins go to the locker room up 14pts Bruce will come out and play in no particular order;

1)Glory Days
2)Radio Nowhere
3)Born to Run
4)Born in the USA
5)And a slow one...Dancin in the Dark

He's far more Superbowl crowd than Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, N*Sync, Justin Timberlake, etc.
