I've never gotten a phone call like this - but apparently you might get one in more naturous areas of the country.

My wife's Aunt (a transplant from Staten Island) sent these from a neighborhood about 5 minutes from Boise ID. Gotta get out west.

Moose are a real problem in some areas. WAY worse than deer. When your headlights shine on them, their eyes don't shine like a deer's do. They are dark, and they won't move if a car is coming at them. You hit one, you die.

Do you have a problem with them in Vagina?

Didn't mythbusters do an episode on this?

Didn't mythbusters do an episode on this?
Just checked. Yes (http://www.scienceontv.com/2008/06/02/mythbusters-moose-vs-speeding-car/).

the question that we are asking for this myth is is this: Is it safer to speed up or attempt to stop, when out of nowhere in Alaska, a moose steps out in front of your speeding car? To test the myth or question, however you want to put it, they first build a moose out of rubber and cables. They then do the first “closed” in test where the hit the moose going around 45 miles per hour (mph). They then see what happens if they start to hit on the breaks when they are around 30 feet from the moose and then they also test what happens if they speed up at 30 feet from the moose.
Basically this myth was BUSTED and I could have told them so. NO ONE wants to EVER run into a moose…its like hitting a brick wall. You want to avoid contact with the moose at all costs!

If only!

My parents raised me 5 minutes over the Outerbridge in Edison, NJ. I would browse Mandolin Brothers occasionally.

That's true - as it turns out, the "Moosen" in question, later helped a local resident with her groceries. Whereas moose would likely have trampled her.
