At 2am on Tuesday (that's 2 1/2 hours from now) I'll be out looking at meteors. They should go till about 4.

Bring your meteor soap and meteor shampoo.

Here's a tip for you, if you have a camera with manual settings and a tripod. You can set the shutter to the "B" setting and leave it open for an indefinite period of time. If you experiment with different amounts of exposure time, you can end up with a photo of lots of streaks from the meteors. It's always a better shot, if you have something in the foreground, such as a building or something.

Well - they were supposed to be from between 2 and 4 - I sat till about 3 (after having seen one) and then came back in. The one was brilliant though. I'm sure it was a good time for whomever caught the whole thing.

Anyway - it was a bust.
Meh - meh - meh. Speaking of this again - I see it's only 4 ... I'm going to check again.

Me and my son went out about 10 and watched did not see anything it must have been to early???....It was a great night clear and i live out of the city limits but no luck//

No way - I got rid of the perm in 89. I scrub meteor directly into the scalp. Thanks Bobo - I think you're right - I caught just the right one. It was a doozy too. Bright wide streak. Totally worth it.
