I think that the newness of the industry captivated you so much that it left a large impression on you.

I feel the same way. I want to play RC Pro Am right now, but I think after 15 minutes I would be bored.

The leaps and bounds that they took when they started making video games were exponential. Now they still improve greatly, but the impact that it has on us just isn't as great.
