I figure this is my own price range for special dinners. I'm having a tough time finding great wine, without spending a lot on duds.
Any favorites out there?

I am a heathen.
I buy most wines based on whether or not their label is cool ... and if they're under $25.
I currently like a pinot grigiot that's distributed by Coppola Vineyards ... it retails for under $10. (No joke.)
And then there's the 2-buck Chuck we get at Trader Joe's. (I like the Shiraz best.)

You can probably get a nice Chianti Classico for just under $40.

FYI, the dollar-sign goes before the monetary amount.

These are wines that are made by Maynard from Tool. Some very expensive, but also some mid-range priced. I've never had it, but I bet it's pretty good.
