He's playing Foxwoods at the MGM Grand Theater.
My friend asked and without hesitation I said, "Yes."
Can you imagine how OVER THE TOP this show will be? I mean, KISS is one of my most FAVORITE bands. Alice Cooper INFLUENCED them.
Plus Eric Singer (former KISS drummer) is touring with Alice so there IS a bit of a KISS konnection. (sorry, i had to do it!)
I'm pretty psyched! I've reached an age where I don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks so I'm sure to have a GREAT time. Will I dress up? OF COURSE!
I just need ideas....

Whenever I see Alice interviewed, he seems like the nicest most pleasant person.
Have fun, I'm sure it'll be a good show. But since it's at a casino don't expect too many encores. After the show, it shouldn't be too hard to spot the Cooper fans on the casino floor.

I see'd The Coop in the 70's and it was one of the most awesomest shows I ever saw WITH MY MOTHER (she was a fan of the blunts back then). I haven't really followed his music since the Dada album, but I'm sure the show will give you wood. A number 3 wood.

As a teen in Ann Arbor in the 70's I worked for the local concert promoters as support staff in a deal they called the Psychedelic Rangers. It was only minimun wage, and the hours were long; but I got to attend every concert for free, and they gave us tickects as well to hand out to friends. Being so young I wasn't part of the demarcation line the guys formed at the front of the stage; so I got to go sit with friends until the show was almost over. Fun times.
I bet I did Alice Cooper at Chrysler Arena 6 or 7 times, and the neat thing about his shows is that it was always themed with elaborate stage work/costumes/songs so the show was always fresh.
I haven't tuned it in in a few months now; but he still does a show on the local FM late at night here spinning his own picks, and he does a lot of commentary between tunes. Well worth the effort if you live around these parts (94.7).

I was going to say I hope he doesn't dedicate "Only Women Bleed" to Ms. Fuzzybutt.

I've seen Alice twice.
I stood in line for two hours one time in the rain for an autograph and I made him laugh when I asked him to sign it to "Jerm you scumbag".
Then we saw him at an old beutiful theater downtown Detroit. Honestly we stood every song and sang along almost every song. One of the best show's Ive ever seen.
Great rock-n-roll for sure.

THAT'S just ME!
Every time I pass 7th and Jersey I think, "Ron grew up there!"
On a SIDE note--- I want to paint my face like Ace Frehley. Will it embarrass my friend? YES. Will it embarrass his wife? Not at all. I FULLY plan to wear my glasses WITH the makeup. I'm going to get new glasses anyway, so what the hell??!!
Now I have to figure out how to do that. If anyone has done KISS make up, please PM me. THANKS A BUNCH!!!!!!!

I saw Alice on Halloween in 2000. Great show. Seen him a few other times too.
And you need to dress as Ralph Wiggum as Peter Criss.

That's the problem with how Alice is perceived (Cooper, I mean, not Fuzzybutt!). I'm a huge fan and those two songs are my least favorites. The albums 'Welcome To My Nightmare' and 'From The Inside' are both incredibly brilliant. His stage show has always been absolutely amazing and groundbreaking. Hell, the old golfer just released his 25th album and it managed to debut at #53 on the chart. You don't see too many hard rockers pumping out original material and charting in the top 50 at 60 years old. You gotta give him a bunch of credit for being able to do that, not to mention for how many performers he's inspired over the years. Its a travesty that he's not in the R&R Hall Of Fame while non-rock acts like Madonna and the Righteous Brothers get in.
Enjoy the show Alice!

One of the women who I do the Avon Walk in memory of was, I swear, the world's hugest Alice Cooper fan. I think one of his songs was the first dance song at her wedding.
Sadly, she passed away in July 2005, or else I would have asked her if she'd consider doing your makeup. I don't think she would have minded ... working at a publishing company doesn't exactly allow you to have a great many opportunities for creativity.
I was going to say I hope he doesn't dedicate "Only Women Bleed" to Ms. Fuzzybutt.

Thank God.
I still picture Fuzzybutt like Renee Zellweger from the "KISS Wedding" skit from SNL a few years back.

(I actually did at The Big Ass Night of Frights... but not too many got the joke.)
