Fantasy KEEPER league

OK here is the deal. Im gonna start a keeper league either a week from today or a week from tomorrow when i get back from down the shore. But im posting early to make sure i get serious people and this doesnt get ruined.

This will be a fantasy keeper league. You can keep between 0 and 2 guys. The keeper will replace where he was picked, ie:

You choose X Player in the 15th round this year. You decide to keep X Player, he becomes your 15th round pick next draft. If you keep a guy you picked up after the draft, he replaces your LAST available pick. This year, draft will be through the league cause its easier, but after, draft will be an in person party, or if we get foreigners like epo for example, we can do like an online chat room. But that way we can trade draft picks and kept players during the draft to make it more fun. Then the teams can be inputed manually.

Anyway, The idea is a 10 team league, but if we have enough REAL interest, i can make it 12. Let me know if you are down, again I would like real fans who will be on this shit every week and will answer trade emails and other shit like that within a day or so. Just so its a fun and competitive league. Let me know whats up and ill PM you guys who are in and give you the info that way.


It will be free, I will be making a bunch of goof trophies that, since we will have all serious guys, will be awarded weekly this year also. They ruled last year. IF we decide to put money on it, that would be a 10 dolalr side thing only if everyone was ok with it, that we will figure out later

and i am gonna custom the points toward more of what the real life football would value shit, but last year the QBs ended up being a little too important. So ill make sure I keep that from happening. Defense points will def be made to be closer to offense points though, cause D is important. Anything that there is a dispute on we will take like a vote or something and go with consensus feelings on it, i really dont care about changing shit before the season. So that will all get worked out

under 30 yards 3 points, -5 miss. 30-40 is 4 points and -3 miss, 40-50 is 5 points make, -1 miss, and over 50 is 10 points and no penalty cause with the new kicking ball, hitting a 50 yarder is impressive

originally i typed -4 for a 40 yard to 50 yard miss. that was a type o. +4 for a make, -3 for a miss

I didnt pick the pick replace rule. Thats the standard used in keeper leagues. I gave the reason why it works that way. You guys are giving me way to much credit here. And the whole purpose of me changing points and running this league is to attempt to make the game play more like real life games. Otherwise I would just keep the shitty standard scoring and let the whole thing be decided by a QB and 2 RBs. Thats bullshit.

In real life you don't lose a pick in next year's draft for keeping a player. Some keeper leagues up the round of the draft pick lost so that one team can not hold on to a player for eternity. 4th round next year, then 3rd, then 2nd, 1st, then move on the the next player and give someone else a chance with them.

Yea but thats dumb. You get lucky and get the first pick and take a guy you wanna keep, thats your guy for as long as you want him. The keeper rules arent going to change, so anyone not happy with them, just dont ask to join. Solves that.

draft is the Friday before the season, August 29th, at 9:45 pm. Only 14 rounds at 90 seconds a pick, so it will go pretty fast and wont end too late, which is good so you still have time to go out after since its a friday night. . If enough people want, i can move it to another day but it has to be after 9pm to fit my schedule and not be when no one else can make it
