Nothing internet works on my comp except for rf.net and paltalk

Ummmm did I get some wacky 202 virus?

The only things that currently will open up or load for me right now on my comp are Paltalk and rf.net.

google doesn't work, my bank site doesn't work, cnn doesn't work, aim doesn't work... just Paltalk and rf.net.

The other computers I have connected to this internet connection work... wtf?

Try running a free, highly rated, ad removal program. It sounds like yout Inet has been hijacked on that comp, and you had special settings in your Inet Browser, or Firewall, for RF.net, and PalTalk; so they weren't affected.

Go to http://www.lavasoft.com and grab the AdAware free version. Run it and I bet you get your Inet back.

Sounds like you may need another comp to make a CD of the file; but I really think this will fix what ails you.

What version of Windows/Mac are you running?

Have you shutdown the computer since this started happening? If so, does the same thing happen?

Are you running an Antivirus Suite that may have a software firewall installed? Have you tried disabling the program? It may be possible that a software update came through, and caused a problem.

turn off your windows firewall, see if that helps

I ended up doing system restore and jeff had teh flip over it. I guess IT ppl are not fans of system restore.

Said it was something w/ dns and rf.net was hosted on that dns so it worked but the others weren't.... i dunno, he fixed it.
