1 1/4 pounds lean ground beef
1 cup flour
2 cups canned tomatoes, with liquid
2 tablespoons garlic salt
3 whole canned jalalpeno peppers, or to taste
1 1/4 pounds frozen or canned hot green chiles
2 quarts of water

Brown meat and stir in flour. Meanwhile, combine tomatoes, garlic salt, and jalapenos in blender. Add to meat mixture. Puree green chiles in blender and stir into mixture.
Add half the water and simmer until desired thickness is achieved. The longer the chili simmers the thicker it will get. :drunk:

Sounds good hedges. I would think about experimenting with replacing some or all of the tomatoes with tomatillos for extra greeness. Or maybe some nice green heirlooms.

i thought green chili was exclusively made with pork. at least you're not using beans.
