Lucy sucks. I sent the Lucy staff an email to that affect about 2 months ago and got a really whiny and defensive response.
It's demo is 35 year old women. There's constantly shit on there that doesn't belong on what should be a 90's channel.

I admit I didn't like Alanis Morissette at first but she grew on me.
I actually liked Fiona Apple's first album; then I lost interest.
The BEST description of bands like Dave Matthews and Hootie was said by one of my friends.
"Bands like Dave Matthews, Hootie, and The Spin Doctors are an IMMEDIATE reaction to whatever good Seattle did."
She eventually turned into a bitch and I no longer talk to her, but she never spoke truer words.

This thread inspired me to go put Lucy on. "Head Like A Hole". How can anyone say bad things about this channel?!?! Though, I am a 33 1/2 year old female, so apparently I am close enough to the prime demographic target to be sucked in. Oh well...
Anyway, my FAVORITE guilty 90's music is never even played on Lucy...probably 90's on 9 but I hate that channel. It's George Michael "Freedom '90". What a great song to sing loudly in the car.
Oh, PS, the next song on Lucy is Tori. I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!:laugh:

"Name," "Slide," and "Iris" by The Goo Goo Dolls.
But I still think their album "Hold me Up" is great, regardless if they went all adult contemporary. Not a bad song on that album.

We're posting my entire set list from the cover band I just quit. There's a real audience though - a lot people who've had kids and things like that love getting out into the bar for a night to listen to the songs from their college years.
I've played Mr. Jones ad naseum for years now.
Just remembered this one - I haven't heard it in years but I might download it again.

I like hearing Faith No More, Flagpole Sitta (any of the one hit wonders - the little black backpack and the like), 7 Mary 3, Counting Crows, Jesus and Mary Chain, Cowboy Junkies etc etc etc - I'll even put up with Tori Amos, The Cranberries and Sheryl Crow - Sponge... Spacehog... even Tracy Bonham, 4 non blondes but I hate when they throw in stuff off the latest U2 album or the latest REM album or anything else that comes from a band that was huge during the time. But they'll even just throw in Puddle of Mudd - b/c ... well - most of the people that listen to the above bands will listen to this too. Bullshit.
I kind of thought the point on XM was to create niche channels. Wait till they start with commercials too.

I didn't here this song until a couple years ago. I hate that I love it. I had no idea it was a 90's song.
Lucy is probably my most listened to XM music channel. There should be a thread for that. Top 5 XM channels after 202.
