During last night's Ohio Valley Wrestling show, Mark Henry announced that he is leaving wrestling to pursue another ambition. He will be competing in the "World's Strongest Man" contest next Spring, which is sponsored by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Apparently, Schwarzenegger personally invited him to enter the contest.

Does anyone care? Too bad, Mae Young won't have a reason to come back to television.

I heard that this was going to happen. Any word on whether he's been released from contract? Because the rumors that I was hearing was that the WWF was pushing for him to attend this Strongman competition (in hopes that he'd quit for good), but that he's got some sort of killer contract that still pays him big bucks.

When he first signed he did sign for an enormus contract, but I don't know what the WWF is doing with it now. All I see this as is just another thing for Mark Henry to fail at.

Ooops double post. I agree mark henry was a waste of space on the roster of WWF talent. He's annoying, not funny, no personality and the whole mae young thing....AWFUL!
