Please let us know how it goes. I have thought about trying to increase my left-proficiency before. I'm an artist and I always thought I'd go insane if I somehow lost my ability to draw with my right hand and thought of trying to increase drawing/writing abilities with ol lefty.

I've started learning how to DJ and have been learning to scratch and fade with both hands, so that's helped my aptitude a bit.

I can only write backwards with my left hand...

My grandmother was punished by the nuns in her school as a little girl for writing with her left hand... she's dyslexic now. My French teacher also used to talk about how the nuns would slap his hands with a ruler if he wrote with his left hand. He grew up to be gay. Careful Reynolds!

I've experimented with the lefty thing. I never went with it for too long; I tended to startle myself cause I wasn't used to the thumb coming in from the right side of my ass when I was jacking.

im left handed and ambidextrous (im a bit of a prodigy though....) .....everyone always says being left handed "explains alot".....what psychological problem are you trying to gain an "explanation" for......

P.s. when it comes to wiping my ass....right handed is comfortable, left handed is nearly impossible.(aka more on my hand then on the paper).....its so bizarre!

Just remember that almost 75% of powertool injuries are caused by left handed people using tools designed for right handed people . . . I have considered arttempting to be left handed as well , or at least increase my dexterity. Good luck to all who are trying. I am left handed. It's awesome. So is BeerBandit. So are both of his parents. So are both of mine. It's really kind of nutty.

Anywho...you'll have to make sure not to drag your hand through the ink when you write. When I was a kid, I always had a blue smudge on my left pinky from doing that. Doesn't happen to righties, so I am sure you're not expecting it.

that is so funny im also left handed and i hated it when i would get done writing and have either ink or that damn graphite from a pencil on my pinky. i had a teacher in middle school that saw me writing with my left hand and then wrote on the blackboard that i owed the devil a days work, he said all left handed people were in debt to the devil. not something a child wants to hear

yeah, that happened to my grandmother too! well, not the gay part. she said they would slap her hands with a ruler then lock her in the closet. something to do with "left hand of the devil" because "Right hand of the father" was the way to be. :wallbash:
