Sarah, myself and the family are going the weekend of 8/16, anyone else?

I used to go every year, but it's been a while, probably five years or so, since I've gone, and this will be Sarah's first trip, anyone been to the Tuxedo, New York Fair lately? Still good?

Aside from there no longer being any more "Instant Shakespeare" improv or "Flaming Idiots" jugglers, it's still a fun time.

My favorite "character" is the Pickle Man.

If I can fling my pot of shit and piss all over the place, sure.

"More mead wench!!!"

I'd go to scream that a few dozen times.

Lack of Flaming Idiots may be a deal breaker... is there still the mud show?

The mud show is the highlight for me. I'll be there sometime this summer, maybe a few times

Might go this year. But then again I say that every year. The onion petals are the best.

I havent been in a few years, but I like it each time I go. There is Brother Donald and his tall tales and he is amazing with his story telling.
I like seeing them make swords and stuff, and trying mead, and having steak on a stake.
seeing women with their boobs popping out and I got the shit scared out me once by this woman on 4 stilts and she was camafloged and snuck up on me in the woods, I didnt even see her! She was hot too. I stepped in elephant shit too.

Like the year I tried to get them to use "triskadecaphobic"?

That was the year after I got them to use "New Jersey Turnpike" in a speech improvised by an audience member.

(Yes, I know. I am a huge dork.)

Do Austin's sisters still work there? If so, which booths? (Would love to see Jesslyn again.)

I think the Flaming Idiots stopped touring in general. Which sucks because they rock.

Beggars O'Muck (a.k.a. "the mud show") is still a highlight of the Faire. We also have enjoyed following Robin Hood's adventures through the Shire in past years.

HA! I had to perform that in college for a class I was taking. Props and all. It was hilarious.
