I dabble in writing..... I
write short stories that are
comedy fiction.... My grammar
is not the best in the world
and my crap I have printed out
looks very hackie and the only
way to fix that is to type the
whole thing over. Not to
mention I would have to EDIT a
lot of it. Lots of people who
read my stuff say I should try
getting it published. I
myself don't think I am that
good. I have tried getting
published but after getting
rejected several times I got
fed up and sent one of my
stories to them with 2 pages
taped together.... When I got
it back they were still
taped...... Is there
anyway..... I can send my
stuff where I can get an
honest opinion o

I would suggest just keep sending your works away until you finally get a yes back. Everyone goes through rejection CYYY, it's all part of the art of writing.

IT'S TIME TO PLAY THE GAME-AHHH!

Ah but with writing it takes
forever to get your
rejection.... It made writing
unfun for me.... If I knew I
was good I would keep sending
but if I am not good I will
continue to write just for
fun..

Let's see some of your stuff, but remember, when it comes to anything creative, it's all subjective.

Most good writers write, not because they like to, or even because they want to, but rather because they have to.

It's not what they do, it's who they are.

Without even seeing a sample, my advice is to (a) work on your grammar, since you suggest that it's a weak spot, (b) take a course on creative writing, or perhaps enroll in an online tutorial, and (c) be it complimentary or critical, never allow the opinions of others to determine what you think of yourself.</font>

don't listen to your friends. if they are not writers their input may be nice, but probably not too helpful. I am a writer and the only way to get real feedback is to hang out with other writers, ones that have no problem critiquing your work. Honestly when you want feedback you mostly need negative criticsm, it's what helps the most. who cares what's good, you need to know how to make it better. anyways find people who are serious and get their help. and write as much as possible, it can only help.

it's true,
it's damn true!

Just loked at this and I saw
it ended with Meat these

type I type quicker than I
think and usually end up
typing crap like meat instead
of meet.... Well enough of my

If you write for fun, then just do it.

If you want to improve your stories, or want reactions, distribute them to your friends and ask them to give constructive critisicm.

There are reference books in the library that give the name and address of every publishing house and the genre the publish.
