I went to new york city,
But then i come right back,
Everyone was cool there,
I couldn't get no slack
You seen me in the papers,
You seen me in the voice,
I think i'd stay in dixie,
If i had the choice.

Well wake up in the morning
Cup of coffee, grab your bags
Jump into the caddie
'cause this tourin' ain't a drag.
They say overrated, educated
I suppose a little jaded.
When i get off this
I think i'm gonna have to be sedated.
So be my sweet potato,
I'll be your honey lamb,
Give me some black tupelo,
I been caught again. shit!

Early life

Gandolfini was born in Westwood, New Jersey,[1] the son of Joan, a school nutritionist, and James Gandolfini, Sr., a building maintenance chief at a Paramus Catholic High School.[2][3] His parents, Italian immigrants and devout Catholics, spent part of their childhoods in Italy and often spoke Italian.[2][4] Gandolfini grew up in Park Ridge, New Jersey and graduated from Park Ridge High School in 1979, where he played basketball and acted in school plays.[5] He holds a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Rutgers University, where he worked as a bouncer at an on-campus pub.[6] Gandolfini also worked as a bartender and club manager before embarking on an acting career.[6] Gandolfini was introduced to acting as a young man living in New York City when he accompanied a friend to an acting class.

Anyone famous from your hometown?

Already a thread.

I have Charlie Keller, a Yankee from the late '30's. Also the band Greenbury Woods, and Amber Theoharris, the Orioles sideline reporter.

We'll make a thread within a thread.

Anyone famous from your hometown?

Peggy Shippen, daughter of town founder Edward Shippen, was the wife of Benedict Arnold. It is also now believed that Peggy pushed Arnold into being a traitor and was the one that initiated contact with Major John André. Thanks Peggy.

Does that count as famous? More infamous I guess.

I've just realized that I'm very irritable today and this week. I've had two calls within the last 10 minutes, and I was so annoyed by both so much. And while there were annoying things about the call, I really let it get to me.

Now I have to figure out what the underlying issue is that's bothering me so that I can find out why I'm so irritable.

Damn therapy for making me so self-aware.
