I'm going to stay up for this one and am quite looking forward to it. It's on in about an hours time at 12.30 PM over here.

For some reason the Ron & Fez community has quite a high concentration of West Ham fans. I know the Blow hard is and at leat a couple of others are who I talked inthe chat room to back in the day.

Should be reasonably competitive. The new premier league season starts in few weeks so the West Ham players will be looking to prove their fitness. Should be quite a competative game and hopefully a good judge of where the MLS is at this moment intime.

Although a tea, full of player who haven't played together before (MLS all stars) should find it difficult west ham are in the same position for the most part.

Looking forward to it.

I have it set to record so I can watch it when I get home.
Lots of my family members support the Hammers, so I can get a few jabs in if they lose.

Lots of my family members support the Hammers,:

Just out of curiousity. You any idea why?

I'd expect Man U, Maybe Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal to be well known. Leeds to a lesser extent (through my travels) but I don't get understand why West Ham are so well known. My only exposure to the USA really is through Ron Fez.net but there seems to be such a high number of fans on here.

A lot of people started liking West Ham because of Green Street Hooligans. Not saying that's the case for pladd's fam... just saying a lot of people did.

The only reason why I'm watching this is because there is absolutely nothing else on.

It was on in the bar I was hanging out in.

I saw beckham run after the ball. He didn't get it.

My father-in-law is English. Most of my wife's family live in Upminster, out side of London. They are season ticket holders for West Ham
