Have you set any food records or entered into any eating contests? I've eaten alot of chicken wings but never counted or competed. This place by my house had unlimited wings and pitchers for $15 dollars. I would eat a hundred with ease. I tried to eat a 72 ounce steak and potato in under 45 minutes to win it for free but failed. Have you ever tried to eat your way to greatness?

I had a pizza eating contest with a friend of mine at a bowling league season ending party. We had 15 pizzas ordered for the whole party, but only 8 people showed up.

Eric had eaten 4 large plain pies when he couldn't eat any more...


I had eaten 5 and a half pies... One pitcher of soda... One sitting... No bathroom breaks...

And for my victory, I got to take home another pie...

In 2000 I made the stupid claim at work that I could easily eat 20 taco bell hard tacos. So we had a taco eating contest. I ate 14 and won and have not eaten taco bell since...

Won a Tshirt in a beer chugging contest at the Bourbon Street Blues Company (http://www.thebestofbourbonstreet.com/bbc_home.html) in New Orleans, then much to my dismay, I was forcibly ejected from the bar an hour later for one reason or another. All the while shouting "You can't throw me out, I won the contest! I won the contest! I got a tshirt!"

The New Orleans thing was odd because I'm usually a very mellow drunk.

Exactly! Funny I'm used to thicker chrust pizza, so I just folded the whole pie in half and ate it that way..

I won $20 while deployed for out doing the rest of the group in drinking as many small bottles of MRE Tabasco without drinking water. My 18 bottles was a new company record.

I won a T-shirt and free wings at this place that claimed to have the hottest wings in Colorado. They had this stuff that was special order called Diablo sauce where they made you sign a waiver and then brought out1 wing for you to try, I made it through 5 before my throat felt like it was going to close and I had no taste buds left.

Shit like a faucet for two days and spent the money on pepto.

The day of my wife's sisters wedding there was a snow storm and 29 people couldn't make it. As the toast glasses were already poured and at the tables I felt obligated to not let them go to waste. The next thing I know there's a picture of me with my head under the champagne fountain drinking. Yep I was a hero!

I have one of those myself (either the 52nd or 53rd edition tee). The crust is so frickin' thin it's almost like eating 3 pieces of a "regular" large pie. If I wasn't dieting I'd be back there in a heartbeat.

Never been in a contest, but I am sure I could eat a lot of something if I was dared. Hell, I don't need to be dared. I eat a lot on an every day basis.
