I got my younger brother tickets for this show a while ago & forgot all about it. He called me about 30 minutes ago from the parking lot to say thanks & was absolutely giddy about the show. He said it went 3+ hours & he heard just about every Billy song he could have thought to put in his own personally-prepared set list. Plus his girlfriend got to call her mother & let her hear part of "Let it Be" over the cell (her mother had attended the famous Beatles show at Shea & that was her favorite song).
Sounds like it was a good time, hopefully he'll put out a DVD from these shows & let the rest of us get a taste of how special these shows were.

yeah, they're definitely coming out with a live dvd/cd of this. billy also smashed a guitar, ala pete townsend during "my generation".
and paul actually made my panties wet. i'm getting gooey right now thinking about what a blast it was.
fucking groovy ass concert!

I heard the whole show sitting up on the hood of my limo from outside the stadium. (it was the best part of the night)...
I drove some really cheap people and I got a ticket on 86th and 2nd from two lovely jamaican gentlemen while I was still in the car! (at least tap on the window and ask me to move! Assholes.) $115 it'll cost me.
Cops get guns for their holsters these Jamokes get thermal ticket printers!! Douchebags!:wallbash::wallbash::wallbash: They wouldn't even honor a family member PBA card from NYC.

While I am not a mccartney/joel/tyler/bennett/brooks fan...
I suppose it was cool to see daltry....
Dave had a blast and when he has a blast.... I do too.

Finally someone is speaking the truth. Billy Joel makes me embarassed to be from Long Island. I'd rather see Mary Jo sing.

I heard most of it from 126th and Willets point. TLC kept busting the town car guys balls for double parking and then left when the show was over. The area gridlocked and tempers flared. I'm surprised there wasn't an actual fist fight. The limo lot was full early and those bastards were charging $72. Fight the ticket. I'm 2 for 3.
Between Billy Joel and the All star game I almost had another prom season.
