X-Men: 500 ... a new direction?

There may be spilers out there ... and I am not looking for any ... I am just looking for a change for the title.

I would like Magneto to come back with a whole new spin. I was away for a while and the entire "No more mutants" thing seems to have jumped the shark. How convenient ... all the coolest mutants kept their powers.

I want to see a return to Magneto and Prof X (a cool Prof).

I am not sure if I want Jean back ... but down deep I think I want to see her come back.

Any fans out there. Hopes, thoughts?

I used to love the X-Men but gave up on them a few years ago. I forget the reason (maybe they were getting too "Cosmic" and I hate the space-faring stories) but maybe #500 would be a good re-launching point to get back into the title.

I agree! The space crap went on for too long. There was a 12 issue run at one point that just wasted a year of that title.

I gave up on X-Men (and most of Marvel), years ago. I would love it if they could get things back on track with 500.

its already been in a new direction since they renamed regular x men to x men Legacy

a used to be good x-men is astonishing x-men but i dint like the first Warren Ellis one

As opposed to the introduction of the Shi'ar? Or Jean becoming the Phoenix by crashing a space shuttle? Or the Brood War?

The X-Men have been cosmic for a very long time.

Astonishing X has been great ... but I need some new monthly titles.
