Reflections on Iggy's

[RF Godfather]

First of all, I want to say that after all the talk and sh*t about finally going I actually went and I am glad I did. Took some great pictures of some super people on the board and enjoyed the night for the most part. Sorry I had to leave early cuz I have to do alot of things this Sunday. It's nice that you all opened your arms to me and welcomed me into the off-board family, now I definitely feel like I belong.

Let me say a few things about my day, a little reflection if you will...

*Got to the pub at around 7:15AM, stood in the cold until I saw Gwen, missy, Twan Money and Tazz then I finally decided to go in.

*Met Aya, her friends, Greg and Shaheen then the rest and listened to alot of great renditions but the jury is still out on all that.

*I'll admit to those who don't know I was the one who knocked that glass over (yeah Alice or adopted mother, I still feel bad) and I also spilled the beer on the pool table. Damn I'm a f'n clutz. I still feel bad right now at 7AM. Maybe I should have done the push-ups on the glass floor on second thought. What is a little glass and blood, right?

*The only thing I regret this past night is that I did not talk to Gwen (for the most part) at all and I couldn't stay long enough for some karaoke singing.

Now some individual shout-outs to the people I met and please do not get p*ssed if I forgot to mention you, I didn't have a notepad this night.

- nice meeting you three and you all kicked ass at the karaoke dealie. Sorry I did not get the chance to do a duet with you Aya. Next time, I promise;)

Gwen- hey sweetie, sorry I really didn't talk to you except in the beginning because you for the most part were making the rounds. You were one of my main reasons for going and I barely talked to you and I highly regret that. My apologizes ahead of time and thanks for the Kodak moment. A nice, beautiful and caring person on the board and even more beautiful in real life in real time. Also that eye brow piercing is just so hot, I have to say. I love chicks with that. I saw you in a new light with that;)

Mikey D- I had a blast with you the entire night, Mike. I want my autographed copy ;) I'll send you an e-mail soon enough. Great guy in person and thanks for hooking me up with a beer. I payed you right? If not the checks in the mail! You surely rock.

Helen of Joy- The name says it all already. A nice person to talk to and it was nice seeing pictures of the gee gee gee chick, Lil Lenay. Thanks for being really warm and friendly towards me eventhough you have no clue who I am... now you know I guess. LOL

Big Jim- Cool kat who still needs a sig pic but can really perform his ass off to REM's "Everybody Hurts" I think I'm still tearing at that stirring rendion by "Mr. Late Night Radio God." Thanks for being cool.

PanterA- What can I say about the infamous PanterA except that it was finally great to meet the man, the myth, the legend. I still wonder if I won my match! You are a great person online and offline as well. Thanks for buying me a beer... cuz it would be illegal for me to buy one, theoretically anyway. Also, its ok to admit that you like soap operas I do?!? ;) I can't believe you lost to CYYYFYYY!

Lisa Croft- the other part of the happy couple. Seeing you in real life, you could probably take me out as well. Sorry again for missing out on Thursday, I know you probably needed a fill in but I wasn't watching AMC. Very sweet gal in person and I'm surprised I didn't see you hit the 40's last night or maybe you did after I left. Thanks for talking to me and being a cool person.

Alice S. Fuzzybutt- "Mom" great to finally meet you. I wish I had some of those brownies last night that your "other son" recieved. Too bad I can't meet the Mister? Maybe next time.

It was sooo nice seeing all of the friends we know from the board last night. We had such a great time. Loved seeing Lisa & Pantera as always. Sweet Melissa was a sweet as can be. Dan, Mira, Ice cream girl and all the rest. All the new board members i met were so nice to me - that's why its great having these get togethers. I met alot of new people so i hope if i dont mention everyone, dont be sore, its just me. It was great meeting RonFez Mark & Gamehhh and Jersey Rich. Real nice talking to Ms Fuzzybutt - its just so nice talking to all of you and finally meeting you guys. Big Jim is a sweetie and sounded great. It was nice seeing Mikey get up there and sing - he usually is behind a whole lot of drums so i know he hammed it up last night. He was funny.
Thanks to Toocute for arranging the night !!!!! Really so much fun. Well, we're taking Lenay tonight to see the big tree but i just wanted to say , what a great time we both had last night and thats because of all of you. oh see - i forgot to say hi to Gvac - who was the first person i ever met from the board. Hey everyone - let me just get this out of the way ---- What a great bunch of people you all- everyone who I met before (and I have become pretty good friends with some) & everyone that I met for the first time yesterday -It's just amazing that we can all get along, take over a bar practically, & have a great time together. I guess we all owe Ron & Fez this because that's what makes this all unique. I have never heard or experienced anything like this before --- which makes all this the more special for me - It's just great how you all love Lenay & say that she has "cool" parents (that means so much to us, because we really planned on having her but we wanted to be cool for her, yet still be her parents). Gvac, Rich, and Ice Cream Girl--Very memorable car ride there...dont remember much on the way home. GVAC you still rule and thanks again for letting me piss in that ravine alongside the parkway. Rich, I was not hitting on you, i passed out. Ice Cream Girl, if i were straight I would love you to be my first:-)

Tazz, Cruel Circus, TheGame, Tenbatsuzen, the really tall guy with the long hair, gwen, nurse mira, and all the new posters I met when i was hammared (thanks to gvacs introductions) We only spoke briefly, but at the next one I will make an effort to get to know better the new faces, and save my gossiping with teh regulars until I am tanked, that way I will remember whose who, cuz you will all remember my face at the next one, and I wont know who the hell anyone is!! I am very bad at that, trust me. But I am glad I did get to meet everyone (mostly) and wish all of you a very happy holiday season!!!

MikeyD & Helen of Joy - Great meeting you obviously like you didn't know that already. You definitely are cool parents, I wish you were my parents. Lenay is a very lucky little girl and how was the Christmas tree? ;) MikeyD, dark angel, thanks for not smoking in front of me cuz I got "the asthma" but I didn't mind really. I'm used to the cigarette smoke... I've been around smokers my entire life... hmmm... I think I need a lung check. Hee Hee! I think I made a great new budday on Saturday, early Sunday by just hangin with a person in one night, sometimes you just click like that.

Sweet Melissa - It's an honest mistake though, you didn't need to post again but thanks though. You know I love talking to you morning, day and night, you are simply the best. It's finally great to meet lil Miss Punky Brewster but who is 100x cooler! Thanks for pointing me out to Alice, momma. I told you I was "that asian kid would would look like he is out of place." You are just too sweet for words. ;)

wOw. What can i say? I was a little apprehensive about goin out saturday night being one of the new faces. Gwen assured me things would be kewl. I went in with one and only one expectation, and that was to have fun. And boy ohh boy did i get more than i bargained for. Everyone was super nice and very personable. It was sweet to meet everyone (who's names are too numerous to mention). Bottom line..............
Thanks for a great night and I hope to cya's again sometime soon. It was definantly a crescent fresh experience.

heres my reflection's about the party(yes i was there):
well when i got there i didnt see any faces i would know from bord pictures.and i was also crocked on hennessy from coming straight from the strip club i live in.then babyC says that guy there has a slipknot hat on.without even looking at who it was i said "well we just found PANTERA" then i seen a face i knew from some pics.my friend GVAC .spent most of my time with him.great guy thanks for the shot.(you better get your ass to pumps on the weekend)ALICE S FUZZYBUTT really great person.but a little of a low talker.she had to tell me her name about 3 times before i heard it.THOR was also a cool person.no matter where i looked there was all 7 foot of him towering over everybody.MISSY and GWEN ,to really hott girls.seemed like really nice wholesome women also;).spent about 20 minutes yelling at HECKLER over the phone, where the hell he was?and finally SWEET MELISSA .i spent the rest of of the night hugging her.next party if anybody wants to see her she will be in my shirt pocket.(babyc also loves you melissa).sorry i had to get there late and leave there early.wound up back at pumps drinking god knows what.if i for got anybody sorry,the cognac was flowing pritty early that night

Ok, so it's Tuesday. The party was Saturday. Late much?

I'll start by saying that it's always great to see all of you, and like so many others have said, it's bad because it's almost too much- you don't get to spend a lot of time talking to any one person.
