No, not the Jimmy Norton type massage places, this is for my wife. I want to get her a gift certificate for a spa/massage for her birthday and I'd really like to get her a place on Staten Island. I know there a few SI'ers on this board, and was wondering if anyone knew of a place?

I wouldn't give her a gift certificate to Massage Envy... I'd choose a higher end place. Not to knock Massage Envy, but it's just not necessarily the place to provide a spa-quality massage.

I know a bunch of massage therapists, two of which either worked there or currently work there. They all pretty much feel the same way about them. The only one I would recommend is the one my friend works at and it's definitely more about recommending HIM personally, because he's the fuckin' BEST.
