I got to the local bally Total Ftiness. I don't have a gym membership, I just walk right past all of the stupid staff and go right on the gym floor. The pack of pussies don't even second guess me not having a membership.
It alright for a free gym. There are a lot of gay people in the steam room and the pool area has a lot of old and gay folk.

I'm fortunate that there is a free one right outside my door (I work in an athletic dept.). Though it took me over ten years to start taking advantage of it.

I still keep my old Bally's membership but I joined a local Gym here in Astoria.
I think the one in Astoria is called Total Fitness or something like that. Its probably one of the nicer gyms i've ever been in. Big fan...big fan.

i go to a local Y in Jersey too...it's on the expensive side, but the meathead population is way less than at Bally's or Gold's

Is it still called "Time Out"? I used to be a member there many moons ago when they firts opened and I worked for BA.
Nowadays, I'm a member of NY Sports Clubs... got the card on my keychain and everything.
But...umm...... I'm just glad they dont take attendance.

My job gave me a membership to Equinox, but I'm always working, so I never get there, so I work out at home.

My 1st gym was Joe's Gym in PA. Car garage converted in to a gym by a state record holding power lifter at the time.
In NYC I started at Frenchy's Gym in Brooklyn. I don't think the owner was French.
Then my favorite gym so far, Johnny Lats, until they closed down. It was a 24 hr gym. Also it was a 24hr freak show. Everyone seemed to be on the juice. I think it was in the vending machines!
Now I just work out in my apt at home in Brooklyn.
I'm thinking of joining another gym next year, but it'll probably be a chain gym like New York Sports club or Gold's.

Huntington YMCA. It's an odd mix of old hairy man ass in the locker room, and too young for me to be looking at as long as I do girls on stairmasters.

I like to hang out in front of the Gymboree and take occasional peeks in their window.

yes it is. The owner sold it back to the building management because he wasn't making it.
