My breakdown of the game so far...

Angie - (The hottie) - Made a mistake trying to keep Brian - it probably hurt her cause in the end... I think she is the "fourth" in a weak four person alliance... I hope she last but I don’t see it happening.

April - (Future Botox Candidate) – A Showmance is always a disaster... I imagine she will go before Olly does as she seems to get under the others skin the most. I really don’t like her game at all .. She said the other night on Showtime to Renny "I hated you day one"... then qualified it - but still - you don’t do that... she already seems to be the running joke in the house.

Dan - (Ryan II) - I give him a lot of credit for sticking with Brian - he alienated himself a bit - but if he can survive this week he has a chance to slip by for a while like Ryan did last year... sometimes it is good to be on the outside for a while - and no one seems to resent him.

Jerry - (Navy) - Navy, Navy, Navy... and more Navy. He will annoy someone soon enough and be dumped. They can’t let him get too far because he is a problem in the finals... he will be an easy nomination for someone who is afraid of repercussions.

Jesse – (the body) – How many times are we going to have to see his shirt ripped off after winning that honey battle? It will be in every promo and opening for four more months… This kid is a guaranteed blindside. No one will put him up again unless it is a blindside. He also may be the least intelligent person in the house. What good does it do him to keep this battle with Renny going on?

Keesha – (Danielle II) – Danielle would have been gone way earlier if her dad wasn’t around helping her. Keesha’s whining will eventually get her in trouble. I have this feeling she will be the “biggest gainer” this season.

Libra – (Parenting in Question) – When Julie pointed out again she is a new mom of five-month old twins last night, it had to suck. There is no bigger threat at the end than a new mother. At this point, though, I don’t see any game flaws. She actually looks like the leader of the women if they ever got around to trying to keep just the girls.

Memphis – (the Threat) – Brian certainly thought Memphis was setup… and I was extremely impressed that he didn’t jump on Brian’s offer early in the game because you don’t want to be tied up that early in a deal or alliance. He would only be a blindside option as I see it right now.

Michelle – (Who?) – Has she had camera time? I can’t tell you one thing about this girl other than the minute someone starts crying she is the first on there for a hug. I think she may be in an alliance. She is playing the background/floater role well so far.

Ollie – (Sheep) – This guy’s game is a mess. He has already proven he is not trustworthy, he is in a showmance week one, has zero life experience, and I have to wonder how this experience is going over with his friends and family outside the house… He is my candidate to say or do something so stupid that you remember it for years to come (like Eric giving away the immunity last season on Survivor)

Renny – (Flapper) – I know it is hard, but just shut up for twenty minutes! Obviously a dead man walking - her best chance is to be a pawn for a couple weeks – and luck into an HOH where she can make some deals. I don’t see her lasting three more weeks, though.

Steven – (Token) – Why is it the gay guy always is from Dallas on Big Brother? Can’t they find a nice gay person from North Dakota, or Florida? Actually I thought it was very interesting that they selected someone who was not flamboyant at all this year, as Josh last year hinted numerous times that the producers said in the diary room he wasn’t being flamboyant enough. Steven has seemed to have been rather quiet, but from what I heard last night he is the target this week. He may need to win veto to last.

Steven is going home tonight - I am sure of that much... all that seems to matter is who wins HOH... I know Dan is playing the game of laying low - and it worked this week - but unless he wins HOH or his relationship with Jesse saves him, he is turning into the pawn for the game... which sucks as you can never get enough power to stop trying to save yourself.

Big Brother better shake this up soon... every website I read says these are the most boring houseguests ever... their game play is also so conservative compared to any other season. The vote in week one was 8-1 - it should be 8-0 tonight as everyone is afraid of sticking their neck out.

Yes, we all hate Jessie. But as much as I wanted to see him evicted last week, I'm almost glad he ended up staying for a while longer. It's the kind of thing where I dislike him so much I'm revelling in the pain of watching him.

Isn't it true on these shows that the ones we hate the most also provide the greatest entertainment? I love watching Jessie pull the classic musclehead move - trying to prove that in addition to his brawn, he's got brains as well - and is really smarter and more intelligent than everyone else in the house. "Didn't I beat everyone at chess?" he asked at one point. Watching him try to put together sentences and use big words that are beyond him is a riot. I also loved it when, in an effort to show how underestimated he is, he asked "aren't I supposedly the youngest person here?" Uhmmm... I don't think that's something you can suppose - either you are the youngest in a group or you aren't.

Renny wanting her alliance members to be pawns really puts her in a bad spot. Now Dan could put her up as a pawn and explain that she wanted to do the same as well.

I can see why he would align (at least promise) to Ollie not to put him up. If you look at the alliance he is in, Renny and Keesha are tight.... Keesha and Memphis are tight. So Dan aligns with a smaller group and tries to go farther.

Big Brother has a double eviction set for Thursday - so if the blow-up isnt shown until then (which is normal that post-eviction reactions aren't shown until Thursday) it will be the biggest Big Brother episode I can remember in a very long time.

There was some interesting editing on last night's show (as there always is). Michelle answered the phone call because she was convinced that "America" loves her, and when it went to Jerry she bitched, cried, and screamed all day long that it wasn't fair. The editing created a more sympathetic view that just made it seem like she missed home.

They better not sanitize everything so much for the aftermath of the veto ceremony.

In previous seasons if memory serves, the first person to win HoH on the double eviction night didn't get anything - since it was lost so fast after it was won.

But this go round Keesha got her basket of goodies - including a letter from her boyfriend which she had been worried about.

Jerry winning definately brings a bit of a twist to the game. Jerry said over and over that he wasn't sure where he is going with this and wants to talk to everyone. He is looking for a deal. It turns out that was not true. Nobody still knows why he left, but there are rumors that he said some things that weren't captured on the feeds that caused the producers to boot him.

Yes, but there are only four feeds that go out at a given time...and all too often multiple feeds show the same thing.

I think I read, right after the cast had their wrap party, that Josh's partner got booted for doing the sterotypical asian voice, while pulling his eyes back, saying "I'm Julie Chen, I'm Julie Chen". Seemed credible at the time, but havent really heard any other explanation...but then again, what the hell do I know. :smile:

Well it all comes down to who is the stronger player. The renigades know they can beat Jerry is a physical challenge, but Keesha will give them a run for their money. I hate dan & Memphis so I do not care who wins the $ at this point.

But only round one is physical, and Jerry wastes a lot of his time wandering around the house staring at stuff. If there's questions about the house for round two, he could easily win...especially over Memphis. Then round three is always the "guess the jury quote", and that's always pure luck. Don't be surprised if Jerry wins. Keesha, on the other hand, is so-so in both endurance and questions. Yes, she beat Jerry in that one HOH competiton, but generally she is pretty so-so.

It sounds like neither guy wants to be the one who wins and makes the final decision... Dan or Memphis... If Dan wins and keeps Memphis - Keesha has to question his sincerity the last few days... If Memphis wins and doesn't take Jerry - I can't imagine Jerry voting for him - which with Keesha / Renny / and maybe Michelle already on board for Dan - Memphis is in deep trouble.

I think if Jerry gets to the finals - he wins no problem...

When it gets to the final three - I cant imagine not taking Keesha... Memphis really made a mistake in my opinion... Keesha and Renny vote as one - and Keesha has as many enemies in the jury as Dan... who has Jerry pissed off? Certainly he has anoyed - but truly pissed off? And he has won competitions... which is even more a reason he shouldn't be around.

I know I am in the minority but as this season progressed I thought it was really fun. I like a couple more twists - but sending people back into the house is NOT one of my favorites... this season did a lot of good things...

I read on Showtime last night they said "See ya next summer" so the rumors of a winter big brother are probably just that - rumors.

I felt from early on that Dan was a great player and was my favorite to win, but as the season progressed he impressed me even more to the point where I felt and am now totally certain that he is the absolute best player I've seen play the game.

Winning 7-0 just shows how well he did and how well respected he was.

It also helped that Memphis did NOTHING aside from stab people in the back.
