Canadian copyfighter Howard Knopf has suggested that recording artists whose music is played by torturers in Gitmo are owed performance royalties (http://excesscopyright.blogspot.com/2008/07/is-torture-by-music-performance-in.html)

so the toturees are paying the torturers to hear this music, and recording artist are supposed to get a cut of it?
