I'm gonna say over, because I believe in Uncle Charlie. The team should be on the same page this year, rather than scrambling for an identity in the PQ (post-Brady) era.

8 wins and a bowl - but the Spartans of Michigan State will once again kick their ass. I do however think that they have a shot at beating the arogant asses from ann arbor

I think 8 wins would be great. Anything more than 8 is outstanding. The offensive line will definitely be better and although Clausen did look lost sometimes last year, he was running for his life for most of the games. A bunch of us are going to the game for the first time in September to see them take down Big Blue.

I'm giving them wins over San Diego State, Stanford, Navy and Syracuse.

Should be close games against Washington, N. Carolina and Pitt, but the first two are on the road, and Pitt is much improved.

maybe i should have clarified myself, both ABC and ESPN have carried N.D. games but their network deal is with NBC.

I am one of the biggest college football fans in the world, but I totally agree.

Until there is true playoff system, and not decided by biased coaches, sportswriters and fucking computers, IMO, every year they will continue to crown the "Mythical National Champion".

Don't get me fucking started on some of the "National Championships" claimed before the mid/late 60's.

If Alabama has 12, then fuck it, every school has at least one. I give them SIX, tops (http://www.ericveren.com/auburnfootball/bamasucks_mythical_champs.asp) (as opposed to the seven that the site gives), and anything before the BCS is questionable (before at least the "ranked" #1 played #2), and even afterwards is debatable as to who the #1 and #2 should have been.

For college football haters, the link above should be a good read. For college football fans, it's embarrassing (even if it does rip on Bammers).

Some schools would claim "Championships" at the end of the regular season, and then lose their fucking bowl game, or worse, claim them based on ONE newspaper or publication's annointing of the fucking title.... sometimes YEARS LATER!

I'm so glad to see Richt at Georgia standing by his position from last year of wanting a playoff... even though they are predicted to play for the "Mythical Championship" this year.

Can you tell I'm bitter about Auburn getting shut out of a chance to play in 2004? Huh, oh well.
