I had to buy something this last weekend using "cash" and then i recieved change back. I have not had cash and change in my pockets from atleast a couple years or more. I mean other than maybe a twenty but nicely folded and went right by the phone. Anywho, I went to do something with it and then just shoved it into my pocket. As I was walking out (it was a super wal-mart and checked out in the middle isles) I had a ways to walk and was really contemplating just giving the change to someone on the way out to get it out of my pocket. I hate the feeling of change+cash in my pockets. Is that a bad thing?:unsure:

I don't carry cash because I usually use my debit card or credit card, and if I HAVE to have cash (say, for a night out drinking) because it is more convenient at that time, I'll go to the ATM, take out $60 or so and spend it that night.

People actually comment a lot on the fact that I never use cash. Why does it upset people so much?

Our society is moving away from cash in general. I usually carry some but never alot. If I want to make a reasonably sized purchase, I just whip out the card.

I have this asshole at work that asks me for a dollar at lunch time for a soda on a weekly basis. When I ask him why he doesn't just bring money to work, he tells me that he doesn't carry cash. Then he tells me time and time again "I haven't forgotten about paying you back, I just haven't gotten to the ATM" It's a fucking dollar, just keep it,,, douche.
