I've mentioned in a few posts that, during weekends or R&F vacations, I like to listen to older shows. What I've been doing lately is listening to shows that from 2004, and I pick a date that's close to the date I'm actually listening It can be interesting to hear (especially in the Fastest Hour) when they talk about what's in the news, and compare it to now. Tonight was pretty funny. I was listening to one from July 16th, 2004, and they were talking about when Mike Ditka said he wasn't going to run for Congress. Fez said the guy he would have been running against was some guy whose last name was Obama. He didn't seem to think someone with a name that's so close to Osama could win.
Give it a try sometime. Make sure you try to match up the dates. On another occasion, just before they did the Jay Mohr Unmasked, I heard one where they were talking about his book coming out. It doesn't have to be four years, of course.
