I'm watching Sportscenter right now, and this is like the third night in a row they've done a story on one of the most ridiculous tragic, 'completely fucked,' 'nice knowin' ya' type of kids.
Last night, it was some blind kid who wanted to pet Smarty Jones...now it's some soccer kid.
Are they trying to make me miserable before bed each night?
It's gotta be some gimmick

have they done a story about the girl who got surgery to fix the fact that she was born with feet that were backwards and upside-down? she just got out of the hospital. maybe they could have her meet that guy whose legs are chopped off at the knees who just won a lawsuit to be able to run in the olympics with his spring-legs .

Thats not my point! Before some mod comes running in and says I'm insensitive!
My point is along the same lines as KC, that its uncomfortable to have to watch the physical deformities of others (especially Kids) when youre otherwise trying to enjoy yourself!
TELL me about the disease, TELL me about the charity, but to shove it in front of me causes immediate tune out.

Just a little bit off the subject BUT
Granted i have a little free time that would be better served doing anything else but
I had a stopwatch and a pitch counter in my car and was driving to the beach a week or so ago and thought I'd do a test on ESPN sports radio.
How much time was actually spent talking about sports in an hour and how many times they said the letters E S P N
