DeLorenzos in Trenton

was wondering how many of the board have been to this fine tomato pie establishment in good ole' trenton, nj? i must say the original place on hudson street rocked!! they have recently moved so i do not know how the new location stacks up.....

no...that is lorenzos..a steak house which i am told is quite good!! i have never eaten there though..

I grew up about 10-15 minutes away from Trenton. There are 2 places: DeLorenzo's Tomato pies (the original place on Hudson) is a pretty good joint, but most people like the Hamilton Ave place better. I think the lack of a bathroom has a lot to do with it. Apparently there's a new joint on route 130, but It went up after I moved, so I don't know what the deal is. I'll tell you this much, get the meatball pie from the Hamilton ave spot.

One of the best meals I've ever had in my entire life was at Lorenzo's. Could of been because of the company I was in at the time, but it was an amazing meal.
