V was a great series about lizard aliens wearing human masks trying to take over the earth. Hope I didn't oversimplify.

Yes, yes they did.

The movie was pretty good, but as an ensemble show Alien Nation was highly enjoyable.

It was one of the more clever shows that FOX produced before they allowed all their creativity to bolt to cable.

And here I was thinking that my dad and I were the only people on the planet who enjoyed it.

Besides Jason from Friday the 13th, Thriller, and the Jabberwocky from that made for tv Alice in Wonderland....this scene ranks as one of my earliest scares (kinda spoileriffic if you haven't seen the series or movie):
