Battlefield: Bad Company

I starting playing this on Xbox last night. It's hard to pull me away from GTA4 and COD4, but this one kept my attention. So far, I am loving it. You get standard COD-style battle, you also drive and fly all sorts of vehicles, boats, and aircraft, you can hop on artillery and rain fire down on the enemy with an aerial view, you can hop in turrets and anti-aircraft batteries, etc... So far I am loving it. It differs from COD4 in that the environment is more interactive - your explosions will blow holes in walls, your bombs and bullets cut down trees, make craters, etc. Absolutely a blast.

I'm playing this on PS3. I like, I still have to get used to it. I spent way too much time on COD4, but I think it finally got old.

The online is definitely a change from COD4, the maps are huge, the vehicles are a nice addition, but it feels less precise as a shooter. I'll empty a clip in to a guy and he doesn't die, whereas in COD three bullets willl put a guy down.

I like it but I was hoping for Battlefield 1942 game play(Spawning, holding and taking positions. ). Dice just came out and made another COD.

The single player campaign is tedious because every time you die you just respawn but the enemies you killed are still dead. If you really want to you could just drive a truck into a battlezone, let the enemy shoot you, blow up taking out some enemy with you, keep respawning and repeating, and eventually they're all dead without firing a single shot.

i just got this game from gamefly yesterday. i only played the first level and i thinly its Fucking cool as hell. I still need to get COD controls out of my head but i can really get used to this game. I cant wait to get home and play somemore.

I liked it up until the point that I failed a mission because I had the gall to try blowing up a bridge by taking out the supports that are magically invincible in a game about shit blowing up.

Yeah, I can't wait. A new game mode will rule. I am still playing this online pretty much daily. It is freaking awesome.
