Dentists are EVIL.

I had a rather rigorous teeth cleaning today.

And it is my opinion that dentists are evil, sadistic creatures. Spending their time sharpening their tools, waiting for the first opportunity they have to drill your bicuspids or puncture the soft flesh of your gums with their picks. All under the mask of good hygiene.

Who agrees with me?

I used to think dentist were evil too... hadn't gone to one wince i was 11...didnt feel no neeed to.. no pain... recently i got a baaaaaaaaaad pain and well all i gotta say is my phobia is gone my dentist rules.. novakane & N2O BABY!!!

I have a dentist story to share.

Way back in the day, I wanted to get my teeth cleaned before an important college event. I couldn't get in to see my normal dentist, so I went to one at school that the health center recommended.

While at said dentist, I saw this guy - mid-30's, at least - macking on a young co-ed from school - and used the term "a little something-something".

Immediately, my guard was up.

While getting my teeth cleaned - which is all I came for, no x-rays, no nothing - he claimed to have found SIX cavities.

Now, mind you, outside of the occasional gingivitis, I never had any tooth pain, in fact, I'm quite anal about brushing.

SIX cavities?

I told the dentist to finish the cleaning and I got the hell out.

Six months later, I went back to my normal dentist, a guy with a respected practice in Central Jersey.

When I told him what happened at the previous office - *AFTER* getting my teeth checked and finding no cavities, even with x-rays, thank you - my guy freaked out, and called this guy a quack. He wanted to report him.

So it's not ALL dentists are asses - just specific ones.
