X-Box 360 Arcade

On Friday I'm going out to get a X-Box Arcade maybe... Does anybody here know if it will play GTA 4? I know it doesn't have a hard drive, but that's not necessary to play all the games right? Would a 256MB memory be enough? Your help is appreciated.

Just a heads up, but you are better off waiting until after July 15-17. That is the E3 show (Electronic Entertainment Expo), and MS may be dropping the price of the console by 50 bucks. Ads in Radio Shack, Kmart and other stores have already been spotted.

In addition, the Xbox 360 Pro (20GB hard drive) will be cheaper, and it is rumored that they are introducing a new 60GB model. Also, there are rumors of a new Wii-like controller coming out that is being developed by Rare, so maybe one of the new system bundles will come with it? Just a heads up, because E3 has historically been used to announce price drops and new bundles.

But ALL Xbox 360 games can run on systems WITHOUT a hard drive. You may even see a bigger memory card announced/unveiled at the E3 show referenced above. This is due to MS bumping the total size cap up on Xbox Live Arcade games (games were originally limited to 150MB only).

256MB Mem card will be fine.

It will play and can save the gamertag and achivements but not sure about saving that game

Don't get the arcade... you'll regret not having the HD. Shell out the extra $ for the Pro.
