Just got back from a European cruise and on the second day while we were on our way to Italy, I asked my girlfriend of three years to marry me and she said yes. The funny thing was that even though we both knew that was going to be the answer, neither one of us expected her to faint and fall into a giggle fit when she saw the ring. It was a beautiful cruise and we had a wonderful time. And yes, I know, we're very young (I'm 22 she's 21) but we don't plan on actually getting married until we can afford it. However, if you're all very patient, you might just receive an invite!

And as far as the too young thing goes, fuck the haters. If I could do it again I would get married younger (got married at 25) and have my kids even younger (had my last one at 34).

Hippo, what can you recommend in late August? The lovely and talented Mrs. Gritty and I celebrating our 20th anniversary and would like to get away from it all for a few days. We spent our honeymoon on Paradise Island, and have cruised on NCL to Bermuda and loved it.
