So now loot is going to be independent to each person on their screen, so if it drops it's yours. Pretty good idea to end the loot fights.

Wait, did you miss the open beta weekend for the last two days? It looks amazing, but I just didn't get that into it. I'm sure I will play it and love it, but playing it over the weekend, I was a bit underwhelmed.

I played the other ones and loved 'em. Since December, I've been firmly planted in Tribes: Ascend (http://ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=91414&highlight=tribes), which is nonstop multiplayer jetpacking fight action, so going from that to a beta of Diablo III is a bit of a rough transition. Like orange juice before brushing your teeth. I'm sure the game will be good, but the beta demo didn't show much growth from the first ones other than improved graphics.

I usually play a melee character in any RPG and diablo is no different. I'm guessing that you will really enjoy playing the class closest to what you play in other games, at least on the first playthrough.
